Hey Mama, I’m Rach: Your Postpartum Doula and Partner in Motherhood

As a mother, certified postpartum doula, and certified perinatal yoga teacher, I know firsthand how transformative (and challenging) the postpartum period can be.

My mission is to provide expecting and new mothers with the support they deserve—because no one should have to navigate motherhood alone.

By blending my experience as a parent with holistic practices like Yoga and Ayurveda, I offer a unique approach that focuses on your physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Together, we’ll create a postpartum plan that fits your needs, while also helping you build a village of support to lean on when it matters most.

I’m currently in a Winter phase of my business. I’m prioritising being at home with my young daughters, as well as working on some of the behind the scenes things in my business.

I created The Nesting Space, as a space of support, nourishment and nurturing for those who desire to be Mothers, Mothers to be and Mothers at any stage of their journey.

I'm Rach, the founder and creator of The Nesting Space Tas. 
I've been a yoga teacher since 2017, and specialise in yoga for fertility, pre and post natal, and yoga for Mums.
I've always had a passion for Mothercare and supporting women through their transition from maiden to mother, otherwise known as matrescence. 

From a young age I desired to be a midwife, as a young adult I realised it wasn't my path to support women through midwifery as its practiced today, but instead to hold women in a more subtle and energetic space through their mothering journey.
It is with a wholistic approach that I birthed the idea of The Nesting Space Tas, to evolve and add to my offerings of yoga for mothers, and weave them with other practices and modalities as I continue to grow my practices and learnings. 


Together, my partner Jade & I have two daughters. I realised early on that if I want my children to stand in their power and follow their inner most desires and be strong, critical thinkers, I must lead by example.

I'm in the depths of the season of growing, creating and nesting with our family, and love supporting others in doing this life's work for themselves.

In my work I pull from wisdom in Yoga, Ayurveda, personal life experience, as well as my background in science to create a nest, or holding space for Mothers. Much like a bird gathers various aspects of nature to build her nest, I too borrow different insights and practices from many aspects of life to build this nurturing, nourishing nest.

Knowing that every woman has her own journey and process through life, matrescence and mothering, I lean into the deep knowing and intuition of each client, leading them back into the safety and trust of their own bodies and experiences. Weaving this with the practical tools I've collected along my own journey, I provide a space for you to be present, held in safety, to explore and BE in your experience of conception, pregnancy, birth and throughout the fourth trimester and deep into motherhood.

With the hope that being held and supported in this way can create Mothers who are healthier and happier in their lives as Mother.

I love to create in the garden, in my nest. I am a homebody through and through, and work best in small groups and one on one. I knit, make herbal products from my garden, grow veggies, fruits, herbs & flowers. 

I am passionate about making yourself a nest, a home that is full of hyyge. For living well and leaning into doing what we love and doing it well.
