group of women gathering in circle

The Sacred Sister Circle

A Monthly In-Person Gathering on (or close to) the Full Moon, In Latrobe, Tasmania.

Welcome, sister.

In our fast-paced, hyper-connected yet often isolating world, many women—especially mothers—find themselves running on empty, disconnected from their bodies, intuition, and a sense of belonging. The demands of modern life rarely make space for deep rest, honest expression, or soul nourishment.

The Sacred Sister Circle offers an antidote to this. It provides a space where women can exhale, be seen without masks, and reconnect with their inner wisdom in the company of others who understand. For mothers especially, who are so often the emotional anchors of their families, this space becomes a sanctuary—a place to fill their own cup, to be held instead of holding, and to remember they are not alone. It answers the quiet ache for meaningful connection, ritual, and a return to what is real and sustaining.

Change won’t happen on our own. We won’t become more connected, more reliant on others, more receptive of others, more community minded, receive the help and support we all deserve and need, by continuing business as usual and the mindset that we can ‘do it ourselves’.

We NEED connection, we NEED community. Yes, even us ‘introverts’. We need community care over self care, community sufficiency over self sufficiency. In all phases of our lives. We need intergenerational friendships, to know our neighbours, to trust the people in our local town, and to know people have our backs, if and when we want and need it.

For a long time now I’ve been craving something deep in my bones. Something I’ve known has been missing and vital in living a more enjoyable life. That is meaningful connection to other women in my local community.

For thousands of years, women have gathered

In sacred circles to share stories, pass down wisdom, tend to the spiritual and emotional well-being of their communities, and honour the cycles of life, nature, and the moon. These gatherings were not indulgent—they were essential.

In circle, women found reflection, healing, power, and purpose. They remembered their innate worth and the strength found in unity. Today, as modern life pulls us toward isolation and disconnection, returning to circle is a radical act of remembrance. It is a reclaiming of what has always been ours: community, ritual, deep listening, and the transformative medicine of being witnessed without judgment. When women gather in this way, something ancient awakens—and something profoundly needed begins to heal.

There’s a reason that young girls and women are feeling unheard, unseen and like people are ignoring their pain.

There’s a reason that women who are becoming Mothers in this century are feeling isolated, alone and like they’re ‘failing’ at motherhood.

There’s a reason that women traversing perimenopause and entering their menopause years are feeling like they’re ‘invisible’ with the amount of exhaustion, suffering and isolation they’re meeting in their experiences.

It’s because patriarchal society has us separated. The witch hunts and women healers who were burnt and chased and kept from gathering with their sisters, has left deep and sensitive wounds in our ancestors and matriarchal lineages.

Women were meant to gather.

Women were meant to celebrate our blood rites together.

Women were meant to share skills and knowledge whilst mixing with different generations.

Women were meant to share skills, work and laughs.

Women were meant to be social, supportive and empowering to one another.

Women were meant to be in community.

But instead, today most of us are doing the lions share of work alone, isolated, and hungry. Hungry for connection, to be better fed, for intellectual stimulation, hungry to be seen, heard, understood and uplifted by our sisters.

There is a subtle but important revolution happening — women returning to themselves, to each other, and to the rhythms of the Earth. The Sacred Sister Circle is a space for this remembering.

Each month, under the light of the full or near full moon (Sunday closest to), we gather in person to witness, share, and honour the wisdom that lives within us all. This is not a workshop, performance or religious happening.

It’s a circle — ancient, sacred, and real.

Whether you long for deeper connection, quiet reflection, heartfelt expression, or simply to be seen and held — this is a space for you.

🌹 A Living Circle, Grown Together, are you a part of it?

This is the beginning of something beautiful. The Sacred Sister Circle is intended to evolve organically, shaped by the women who show up. As one of the founding members, your presence and voice will help shape what this community becomes. Together, we tend to something that is both ancient and new.

While sisterhood is inherently collaborative, The Sacred Sister Circle is intentionally held within a grounded, consistent container — facilitated by me, Rach — to create safety, structure, and continuity.

In a world that often feels chaotic or unanchored, this circle offers a steady, welcoming rhythm. Having a dedicated guide allows for gentle timekeeping, emotional safety, and the deepening of shared rituals, so each woman can fully surrender into the experience without needing to “manage” the space.

This doesn’t mean hierarchy — quite the opposite. Each woman’s presence, voice, and essence are of equal value. You are not just attending the circle; you are co-creating it. This space is both held and co-shaped, evolving with the wisdom, needs, and magic of the women who gather within it.

I’m hoping this circle will become a community that has each other’s backs, a sisterhood of women who not only gather in circle each month to witness each other, but who also create opportunity to give back to our community, outside of circle. Who band together to support another sister in times of need.
