Planting the Seeds- A free journaling, collage & intention setting gathering for the year ahead

Plant the seeds for the year ahead.

This is a low-pressure, come-as-you-are gathering. No rigid goal setting. No need to have it all figured out. Just space to slow down, listen inward, and begin the year with intention.

We’ll begin with a short guided meditation to help you settle into your body and tune into what you want to call in, tend, or make space for this year. From there, you’ll be invited to set intentions in a way that feels right for you. You’re welcome to share with the group or keep your reflections private.

Then we’ll move into collage, journaling, and visioning.

You can: decorate the cover of a new or existing journal

create a vision or intention board

work inside your journal

or move between all of it as you feel called

There’s no one way to do this. Cut, paste, write, doodle, chat, or sit quietly with a cuppa.

✨ What to bring

A blank journal or one you’ve already started

Any bits you’d like to collage with: magazine cut-outs, words, images, stickers, scraps, photos, textures

If you’re making a vision board, bring anything you’re drawn to right now

Start collecting things you love now. Colours, words, images, feelings you want more of. These can become the outer skin of your journal or a visual anchor for the year ahead.

I’ll provide markers, glue, and a selection of decorative items.
Basic journals (A4 and A5) will also be available to purchase on the day for under $20 if you need one.

🌿 What’s included

Guided meditation + intention setting

Collage, journaling & vision board time

Open, gentle conversation

Cuppas and snacks

A welcoming space for women at any stage

Never journaled before? You’re welcome.
Already deep in a journaling practice? Come along.
Just want to create, set intentions, and meet other women? This is for you.

Kids are welcome. (I have a sandpit, mud kitchen and cubby for those children who are able to play while Mama does her thing, there will also be a shaded area with a play mat and some toy for littler kiddos).

We’re hoping to be outside, so bring anything you need for that. If it’s wet or windy, we’ll gather in the Red Shed.

At the end, I’ll briefly share about my offerings for women and mothers. This is simply an introduction and invitation, with no pressure to join. Attendees will receive a special attendee-only discount if you feel called.
