The Sacred Sister Circle

A monthly morning gathering in-person on (or close to) the Full Moon

📍In Latrobe, NW Tasmania.

Welcome, sister.

group of women gathering in circle

Sacred Sister Circle is a slow, grounded morning space for women to gather in rhythm with the seasons.

Each circle we begin with gentle, accessible yogic movement (mostly standing, or seated on the floor or props-chairs available) to arrive in the body, soften the nervous system, and come home to ourselves.

We gather in circle tend to our community alter, meditate, journal, then open up to share what’s alive for us (or sit quietly if that’s what’s needed), and close with a nourishing shared lunch.

This is not a yoga class, though my trainings and teachings are grounded heavily in yoga- this is so much more.
This is not a women’s circle where you’re expected to perform, fix, improve or explain yourself.

It’s a space where you can:

  • move & feel into your body without pressure

  • be witnessed without needing to be “better”

  • reconnect to your inner rhythms

  • experience real, embodied community

  • remember you don’t have to do life alone

Held across the Wheel of the Year, Sacred Sister Circle offers continuity, belonging, and a place to land month after month. Over time, the circle becomes something you can lean on. A touchstone. A remembering.

You don’t need to be spiritual, experienced, or confident. You just need to arrive as you are.

What women often leave with

  • a calmer nervous system and softer body

  • clarity around what they’re carrying and what they can set down

  • a deeper connection to their own inner wisdom

  • a sense of being seen and understood

  • renewed energy for daily life

  • genuine connection with other women, without comparison

Who this space is for

Sacred Sister Circle is for women who:

  • feel tired of holding everything together alone

  • crave intentional, more meaningful connection

  • want to be in their bodies, not just their heads

  • are drawn to seasonal living and cyclical rhythms

  • long for community that feels real, not performative

You are welcome whether you speak or sit quietly, whether you come regularly or occasionally.

Sacred Sister Circle, a women's circle in Latrobe, North West Tasmania

Women have always gathered

In sacred circles, and in everyday living, to share stories, pass down wisdom, tend to the spiritual and emotional well-being of their communities, and honour the cycles of life, nature, and the moon. They also gathered (and still do in some cultures and traditions) to do everyday tasks, and care for children together. These gatherings and community supports were and are not indulgent—they are essential.

In circle, women find reflection, healing, power, and purpose. They remember their innate worth and the strength found in unity. Today, in modern life, patriarchy, colonisation, and consumerism have pulled us toward isolation and disconnection, returning to circle is a radical act of remembrance.

It is a reclaiming of what has always been ours: community, ritual, deep listening, and the transformative medicine of being witnessed without judgment. When women gather in this way, something ancient awakens—and something profoundly needed begins to heal.

I’m your circle facilitator Rach. I’m a Women’s Yoga Teacher and Postpartum Doula. A mother to two young girls and spicy brained creator, lover of learning, who loves to bring humour to as much of life as possible. I’ve spent much of my adult life unlearning what I was taught to believe about myself through school, and reclaiming my birth rite to create, embody, and lean into the nature of being human.

🌹 A Living Circle, Grown Together, are you a part of it?

This is the beginning of something beautiful. The Sacred Sister Circle is intended to evolve organically, shaped by the women who show up. As one of the year long members, your presence and voice will help shape what this community becomes. Together, we tend to something that is both ancient and new.

While sisterhood is inherently collaborative, The Sacred Sister Circle is intentionally held within a grounded, consistent container — facilitated by me, Rach — to create safety, structure, and continuity.

In a world that often feels chaotic or unanchored, this circle offers a steady, welcoming rhythm. Having a dedicated guide allows for gentle timekeeping, emotional safety, and the deepening of shared rituals, so each woman can fully surrender into the experience without needing to “manage” the space.

This doesn’t mean hierarchy — quite the opposite. Each woman’s presence, voice, and essence are of equal value. You are not just attending the circle; you are co-creating it. This space is both held and co-shaped, evolving with the wisdom, needs, and magic of the women who gather within it.

I’m hoping this circle will become a community that has each other’s backs, a sisterhood of women who not only gather in circle each month to witness each other, but who also create opportunity to give back to our community, outside of circle. Who band together to support another sister in times of need.

What to expect

  • Gentle grounding and guided practices & rituals to set us up to share.

  • Ritual based on seasons and elements, meditation & journaling

  • Optional & instruction free craft activity to keep your hands busy during circle.

  • Sacred sharing circle (with a theme or prompt, sharing is optional).

  • Time to witness and be witnessed in full presence.

  • A shared meal, tea/hot choc and connection in a cozy, welcoming, & safe space.

  • You don’t need to bring anything but yourself. Come as you are, raw, emotional, and real.

  • Whilst we sit on the floor a lot, there are chairs, props and a couch available to those who prefer or need it.
